Design of Surface Shape Control for Large Two-Dimensional Array

چکیده
This paper develops design technology for active shape control of reflective surfaces using large spatially distributed sensor/actuator arrays. The classically-motivated design methodology achieves scalability to very large array sizes by imposing spatially localized fixed-form constraints on the control law structure. Linear program is solved to find parameters of this structure. The design is applied to a surface deformed by a hexagonal actuators array.

Dexterous Workspace Shape and Size Optimization of Tricept Parallel Manipulator
This work intends to deal with the optimal kinematic synthesis problem of Tricept parallel manipulator. Observing that cuboid workspaces are desirable for most machines, we use the concept of effective inscribed cuboid workspace, which reflects requirements on the workspace shape, volume and quality, simultaneously. The effectiveness of a workspace is characterized by the dexterity of the manip...

متن کاملOptimal Shape Design for a Cooling Pin Fin Connection Profil
A shape optimization problem of cooling fins for computer parts and integrated circuits is modeled and solved in this paper. The main purpose is to determine the shape of a two-dimensional pin fin, which leads to the maximum amount of removed heat. To do this, the shape optimization problem is defined as maximizing the norm of the Nusselt number distribution at the boundary of the pin fin's con...
متن کاملNumerical Study of Bubble Separation and Motion Using Lattice Boltzmann Method
In present paper acombination of three-dimensional isothermal and two-dimensional non-isothermal Lattice Boltzmann Method have been used to simulate the motion of bubble and effect of wetting properties of the surface on bubble separation. By combining these models, three-dimensional model has been used in two-dimension for decreasing the computational cost. Firstly, it has been ensured that th...
متن کاملCircularly Polarized Circular Slot Antenna Array Using Sequentially Rotated Feed Network
This paper presents the design, simulation, and measurement of two low-cost broadband circularly polarized (CP) printed antennas: a single element and an array at C band. The proposed single element antenna is excited by an L-shaped strip with a tapered end, located along the circular-slot diagonal line in the back plane. From the array experimental results, the 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth can r...
